I own several N3DS systems but have never used the Luma features of upping the clock speed and the L2 extra cache

Was looking to hear from anyone who regularly uses these features please

Does it make a difference to general performance ?

Do homebrew's such as emulators benefit from it ?

Is it safe to just leave activated at all times ?

Thank you in advance, interested to hear of your experiences

I have been told that most software released after the introduction of the "New" 3DS models will automatically take advantage of the clock speed and L2 cache, so if you are not running older software, you do not need to worry about it.

isn't there a lot of software that will automatically run faster on the New 3DS even without CFW?
If it is written to do that*, sure... most don't

* they're options in a title's header or exheader, can't remember - and all the "overclock" (or rather "official full speed" as it's really meant) does is to force different settings for titles that don't declare themselves to be N3DS enhanced

It’s absolutely worth enabling and testing. Especially if you use 3D effects as it helps immensely with stutters. Easy example: scene transitions on the overworld in Link Between Worlds. There is a slight hitch if 3D is on. If you enable over clicking, there is no hitch.
