Hi,

I put my n3DS in sleep mode, just recently managed to downgrade it to 9.2, and it supposedly auto updated. Though I don't think it will take effect until I restart it (correct me if I'm wrong)..

What should I do to get rid of the update before anything really bad happens? And what can I then do afterwards to prevent it long-term?

Thanks

IIRC, 3dses don't update on their own.
Did it actually update or did it download the update ? sysnand or emunand ?

I have the same problem. That one time i forgot to turn off Wi-Fi before putting my n3DS down for a break it downloaded the update. I get a box once a day asking to upgrade. If i say no it will appear again the next day.
Hopefully there will be a fix of some sort. At the moment its not really a problem since im the only one using the 3DS and i know not to accept it. But removing the option would be great still.

did I just ride a DeLorean back to when this was still relevant ?
anyway if it is what I think it is, it's a known problem. just do a bit of searching and you'll find an answer. or two. most likely a whole lot more than two.

Idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it seems excessive for anyone who can answer a yes or no question.
