I don't see it in there anywhere. The 3ds was running Homebrew and when it was downgraded to a lower version it bricked the console...at least thats what it seems like.

Have you tried putting it on the SD card?

I'm not sure really. I just know it was running Homebrew and I used it to play Monster Hunter X for a short time before Monster Hunter Generations came out.

Well it worked until it was downgraded to a different software version and it bricked in the process i'm guessing. its been a paperweight for months now, i'm gonna buy a new motherboard for it on ebay and attempt the swap myself.

Not long before people make memes about people coming to the forum after bricking for not following the guide.

try holding select when powering the system on to see if it has a9lh installed (or putting the decrypt9.bin file on the SD root and renaming it to arm9loaderhax.bin

may also be worth getting in touch with whoever originally modded it for you and asking firstly if they have a nand backup and secondly if they installed a9lh

(PS i know he seems to suggest he was just using homebrew, but he also sounds like he doesnt follow the scene too much so he may not really know what his friend installed for him)

Buy a new motherboard (aliexpress has some cheap ones) or use it as a nice paper weight on your desk!
