well that sucks.....

guess i have no other options...

not even semi firmware wont work?
Semi-Firmware will NOT work on your current firmware and the only way you can get it to work is by DOWNGRADING which can only be done by using a PANDORA

If you choose to HARDMOD your battery you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT AS A NORMAL BATTERY AGAIN

Is that easier?

So yeah, best thing to do is to just buy a Pandora then FLASH the firmware.

AFAIK, you'll still be able to use your hardmodded batt. as a normal one. Hardmoding a batt. is just connecting 2 certain point on the batt.'s PCB.After done flashing the PSP, you can just simply de-solder the wire. On one method, you'll just need to left 1 leg of the IC on the battery's PCB...

The Phat batteries will work on Phats (obviously) and Slims. As mentioned, you can't fit the battery cover on while using it on a slim, but in reality you don't really need to use it much at all anyway.

i wont be able to put the cover on. so i think i'll go with the one i posted.

stupid stupid stupid cousin of my cousin and his stupidity to update the freaking PSP.

Dude, you need a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory stick to downgrade/install 5.00 m33-4 straight away, this is how Pandora works. Also, Magic Memory Sticks can be easily made so don't worry dude, you could visit one of those threads here or google Rains UltraMMS maker. Then you could install either 5.00 m33-6 if you want to patch games or 5.50 GEN-D3 with the Prometheus add-on (5.50 Prometheus). This homebrew crap they have been saying is just non sense you could install CFW on your PSP however you need a Pandora and a Magic Memory Stick to install it since you're on higher then 5.03.

It will function as a normal battery, though you'll usually have to activate the PSP when it's either using a normal battery or is on A/C power.

i have the magic stick, but not the battery.

so if i place the battery in the PSP, load up and install the CFW, can i take it out and use the normal battery again?

i already have the site. all im asking now is a simple question, now that i KNOW that i need a pandora battery:

can i use my old battery after installing the firmware.
