Thank you THUD. These are great looking skins.

You might want to update your link on the MK5 board too.

Basic grey skin for 2d xmenu. Includes a global.ini from 2.52 to change menu colors but I *guess* it should still work for lower xmenu versions. The only difference is the new wait codes and the removal of the 3dmenu option

Different c_file to match which firmware you're using now, or remind which card you have!

the pokeball friend code is just for fun.

OuendaN-card skin.

QUOTE said:
Basic Ouendan(2) skin for n-card and clones (thus the cheesemo name).

I have no idea what the characters say (!!) if anything , I just ripped it along with everything else for the skin out of the Ouendan website flash file.

Installation: Put the contents* of the rar file into DSYSTEM folder.

*Comes with a config file for menu and text colours.

I'm using the bottom half and it looks real good, thanks.

One thing, how do you change the ROM highlight color? It seems to be a darker blue up top than on the bottom (because of the skin's gradient). I'd like to make the color bar stay the same if possible. Probably not though.

Probably not though.

xmenu (the ncard menu) is still very primitive to skin for. It does not listen to many of the instructions in the global.ini file (not properly anyway).

Without going into all my gripes over it, to answer your question, the reason the blue changes shade is indeed because of the gradient background. xmenu highlights by simply inverting whatever is below it. It is a big problem because it really limits the colors you can use for text to still be legible in both inactive and highlighted states.

Its still the most compatible card around so what's a few menu quibbles I guess. You might use it all the time but only for a few seconds right?
