Gaming Myst (Republished)

I was perusing Storm City Games website which is supposedly going to be the first to release a DSi-Exclusive game for the US DSi called System Flaw.

As I was looking around I noticed that they listed Myst in their Q1 2010 games.
I was like, wait, Myst was already released in USA and Europe so what's the deal with this new Myst?

On Amazon, it is being slated for a December 8, 2009 release. I'm not sure when it will be out but the box art on Amazon is of the previous group, Empire Interactive.

As I dug deeper I found out that the reason for this rerelease/republishing is most likely because of Empire Interactive's closing back in May of 2009.
Since Myst is a well known game apparently Cyan got a deal with Storm City Games to put it back out again.
From the screenshots there looks to be no difference between the first release and the coming new release.

The original DS release got consistent all-around super bad reviews.

Maybe they're going to try another go at it.

I wish but I'm not figuring it will be. Unless they made some major changes long before Empire went out of business it seems too soon to be republished. My guess is likely it will be just the same game only with a different publisher screen. But we shall see.
