My xbox 360 S isnt booting

I have a modded xbox 360 S with trinity motherboard. It was making weird noises and it temps were going up, so i wanted to change it's thermal paste. After I changed it it didn't boot (I don't know if it booted before because I didn't try to use it around 6 months before changing the paste). When I try to turn it on, it's fans spin, green light flashes (only the dot), the modded chip starts flashing and its disk tray opens. I have tried all the common responses (like changing the tv, cable and similar). It also won't boot into Xell.

Ring of light quadrants flashing red/center light red.

• To diagnose, hold down the sync button and press eject 4 times
• Each time you press eject, a certain number of the quadrants of the ring will flash
  • 4 lights signify 0
  • 1 lights signify 1
  • 2 lights signify 2
  • 3 lights signify 3
  • On Xbox 360 E consoles, the ring will flash an amount of times then pause, count these to get the numbers
• After pressing it 4 times, you will have the secondary error code
• Example: seeing 4 lights 3 times, followed by 1 light once, means you have error code: 0001

When I do that nothing happens, it just turns on and opens and closes dvd tray. But I don't think its the red ring of death. there is only a single dot in the middle that shines green. The other four quadrants don't light up.
