So, I played around a bit and made a simple remix of Top Gear - Track 4 (aka. Frankfurt) for the SNES.
My goal is to make a better version in the future in the style of synthwave, by slowing it down a bit and add more instrumentations and details.

Since I'm aiming for a synthwave song, it is supposed to have an 80s feel.

This is the original track:

And this is mine :)

Constructive criticism is very welcome.

Oh man, I love Top Gear. So many good childhood memories.
I think you softened the instruments too much though.
The original sounds more punchy and crisp, and the feel of the song is kind of ruined by the remix.
It's hard to remake a chiptune in non-chiptune style without ruining that though.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

@The Real Jdbye Indeed it is softer than I intended, and it lacks a lot of punch that I'd like to achieve. There is a synthwave remix of Track 1 on youtube that's fenomenal, and does have the crispiness and punch even though it's at 80% speed and 80s styled :)
