I have a slot 2 M3 Perfect SD version.
I updated to FW 32 and know the games don't save anymore.
I close my DS and when I open it again I dont get the save message.
Can anyone help me?

Did it save prior to FW 32 (I believe the latest is 33 so try that

You can find v33 in English linked on the m3-forum.com website

I'm not sure if you can downgrade, but if you can, try it, just to see if it's a one off issue. Is autosave enabled? Do you see the "backing up save" screen at all?

Thanks for the help.

Seems that that m3-forum.com is offline.

I don't see the back up save screen at all.

I may have disabled the autosave my mistake. Can you tell me how I can enable it again.

on the NDS launcher settings page (you might also have to do this for the GBA side), go to auto save (at the bottom somewhere, and press left/right to change it to yes)

Well since it was just an update, I'm assuming the battery is still running (don't rule this out yet though). What error do you get? Are saves being made, but not being read, or are saves not being created at all? Try to run the game through the gamemanager again to create a fresh save.dat

What happens is that I boot a game (for example Pokemon Pearl). The game plays from the start. I save the game when I can and after a while I turn off my DS. Then I open my DS again. The M3 should give me the "save" screen. This doesn't happen. Instead the DS just goes to the M3 main menu. When I boot the game again it plays from the beggining again. The save is on the card but I guess it is empty. I crated a second save from the game manager and the problem remained. I also tried formatting my SD card and I also tried a second one.

If the save screen doesn't load.. it might mean autosave is stuffed?

Try back the save up from the RAM manually (there is a way to do this, but I don't remember. It's somewhere after you try to load the same game, and you press a button and it takes the save off the RAM). This will determine whether the battery is stuffed

Thanks for the help problem seems to be solved!!!!
Well I used a new sealed SD card and now the games save.
I don't really know the cause of the problem since the other cards I use work fine...
Anyway I was afraid the baterry-RAM problem but everything seems all right now!!

Thanks for your time and for your help. I will post again if I encounter problem again (I can finally play Pearl and send on my original Diamond the Pokemon I missed!)
