*sigh* I was using chthuga's exploit. I launched it correctly, the way the instructions on the page say, and which I've been doing the same way upwards of 100 times. Then it said "You're all set!" but it didn't show the goldhen notification. Instead, I received an error notification after about ten seconds which said "The database is corrupted." I hit ok. I was redirected to the rebuild database option, which worked, but when my ps4 rebooted I had no games available. Unfortunately, all the games I had installed are still on the system somehow, but I can't see them. What I mean by this is that they're under applications, taking up space, but I can't play them or even delete them anymore, no matter how hard I look for them in the library tab or anywhere else. I have a lot of games on external hdd but not all of them, about 100gb was on my internal hdd. I hate this sort of thing and I have no idea why it happened. I could use your advice on how to get my games to show or basically what to do from here, please.

you need to run the database recovery script. this is normal. unfortunately, it will make the games undeleteable I believe, but it's the only way if you didn't make a backup of your databases.

I did rebuild my database; it happened automatically as described in post 1. Several minutes afterwards, I also did it manually following an instruction set because I thought it might have worked that way, but it didn't. (Some extraneous info that may or may not be of any help: I can launch goldhen on my ps4, which means I can install and play games and see the games on my external hdd, but the games are lost each time I shut down. Using strictly the external hdd would seem to be a viable solution but it has to populate the games list each time and that takes a couple minutes.)

the database got corrupted within minutes each time? the database rebuilder is a python script. I'm not referring to rebuilding the database in the recovery menu.

Yeah, if your games are on external, just unmount, then mount again while hen is running. This is why I don't recommend using the internal for content if they're fpkgs
