No idea. It doesn't make sense that homebrew would work but games wouldn't work.

Are you trimming the games or something?

just backup your files, reformat your micro SD... and see whether it works..
and make sure you use the "safely remove hardware" feature to stop your card reader's operation
I do this and it doesn't work.
Also, I'm not trimming my games.

I'm fairly certain there is some information you're not giving us. There's no reason that homebrew would work but regular games don't work.

Well, there IS something I've been hiding.

Some games load, other don't. Sometimes the games that don't load start loading. The first game in the list NEVER loads. Others don't load just after one failed loading, but it then loads.

And this is true regardless of how you format your microSD card? Did you actually do a full reformat, or did you just do a quick format?

OK, here's my best guess. You cracked some solder inside the DSTT when you dropped it, so it sometimes doesn't work properly.

However, if what you claim is accurate, I have no idea why it would work with homebrew all the time. There is also absolutely no reason that I can think of why the first game in the list might behave differently than other games. Definitely some odd behavior you're describing.

I'm buying an 8GB card since I think what broke was my microsdhc card. Remember, I said that my 2GB card worked flawlessly.

I didn't read your last post and bought another DSTT. I noticed that only some games don't work, which work in the 2GB card. If I delete their saves and try them again, the DSTT creates a save file and the games loads. However, after turning off the DSTT and then on again, when I tried to load the game it doesn't work. I tried this for every game that has the problem and it continues to happen like this. Any help?

Particular games I noticed with this error (Not all):
- Nanostray
- Super Princess Peach (Loads very few times)
- Crash of the Titans
(All of this games are the U version)

I've played several of these games with the DSTT and had no problem, so I have no idea why they aren't working for you. I've also never experienced a save file working once and then not working again after that.

Are you saying that this is happening with your new DSTT or with your old one that you dropped?

I just solved my problem completely. The problem was that I had too many folders on the root of my microsdhc card (1 folder per game). The 2GB card worked because it had less games. Still, thanks for ll your help!

Heh...I should have caught that in the OP. When you said that your ROMs were in separate folders, I thought you meant that your ROMs were in a separate folder!

Yes, you want to put ALL of your roms into ONE folder named "games" (or whatever you want to name it). The reason is that the FAT file system can only have a limited number of files or folders on the root of the microSD card.

If you want, you can separate them into three or four folders, but obviously you don't want each ROM in its own folder (that defeats the whole purpose).

Anyway, I'm glad you got it working and I'm sorry that I didn't read your first post carefully enough! We could have avoided a very long thread!
