Either your motherboard is fried, or the cables used to charge and get power from your battery are messed up.
If your warranty is still in effect (and it should be if you had a 3 month warranty originally and registered for the extra 9 months on club nintendo) then send it back to Nintendo. If you have DSiWare on there be sure to notify them and they'll copy it over to the new DSi.
