Hacking My DS Screen looks funny...

I was cleaning my ds with all kinds of stuff and let water run on it while it was closed. when i turned it on it had a strannge shadow on it like water got in the back or something. is there a way to fix this?

You let water run on your DS? Very bad idea.
You're seriously lucky it turns on... the only way I can think of how to fix it is open it and use a towel or something to take out the water.

okay, but um, WHY WOULD YOU RUN WATER ON AN ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE?! Havent you learned anything about electronics?

Open it up and dry it throughouly, either that or try and just let it sit in the sun for a while, thats what i did when i accidentally dropped my phone in the pool. it works.

okok i get it im a retard. the only way to open it up is with that special tri wing screwdriver right?

This happened to me but with coke(I wasn't cleaning my DS with coke,but I spilt it) which was horrible because it made it sticky and the sugar got stuck in the buttons when it dryed.
I just cleaned it with a towel and it was fine(cept for the sugary buttons).
