my ds screen keeps going gray

i accidentaly broke the screw above the battery on my ds and now the top screen keeps changing warmth. can somebody tell me how to fix it, its getting very annoying

i accidentaly broke the screw above the battery on my ds and now the top screen keeps changing warmth. can somebody tell me how to fix it, its getting very annoying

There's an adjustable screw as highlighted here which manually adjusts the brightness, it may be located elsewhere inside the battery holder depending on whichever model you have. Whilst the DS is powered on, carefully rotate that screw with a small Philips head until you can see the picture clearly. Don't turn it too far otherwise you may risk damaging the LCD.
