Okay, so as many of you know, Nintendo let best buy locations around the US have access to E3 demo's...
I attended my local best buy event...I Arrived at 3:30 and was number 4 on the waiting list and was the 2nd person to play mario kart 8, It was AWESOME! You can either use wiimote+nunchuck, wiimote+steering wheel, gyroscope gamepad, or analog gamepad, the demo is a max of two players, 3 race grand Prix, 2 laps per race, and much to my surprise, It is MUCH harder than previous MK games! By the time I got done racing, The delay for new people/people going again was 3+ hours... ANYWAYS! On to pics of my loot!

Yep, If any of you go to race on MK8 and get stuck with the gamepad, Gyro is HORRIBLE in the demo, but if you look at the gamepad screen you can tap the button that shows a gamepad and arrows so it's greyed out then use analog sticks, makes it alot like MK7.

I'm so obsessed** with MK games and now my inner me wants that i buy a Wii U.
Need to resist >.<

** I'm so obsessed that i played over 200 Hours of MK7 offline ._. (Can't play online sadly)

No idea on CController... Only options in the demo were the ones i mentioned, and also the loot was for today only, i asked, sorry =\

Within a hour my store in Charleston was barren of loot. i had 50 people behind me by the turn of the hour.(They started at 3:30 PM EST, and by 4:00 nothing was left)

I wasn't able to play the demos because all of the time slots were already full (I got there 45 minutes after it started, but they said people were waiting since like 3 hours before it started), but I did manage to get a Luigi hat. :D

Totally went to one today as well. It was pretty awesome (total sausage fest). I got to play Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8. SM3DW was very fun but a little to chaotic with 4 players, I can see where it'll be a blast to play single player and two player. Mario Kart 8 was the highlight of the event for me. The game look absolutely beautiful and ran very smoothly. Riding on the buildings with the zero gravity wheels was super awesome. I also saw someone play Wind Waker and it looks amazing, definitely going to get that one when it comes out. I ended up getting a flag, hat, coin, and roped into pre-ordering Mario Kart 8.

I also got to talk with the Nintendo Representative as well and ask him questions about each game. He told me that the Wii U pro controller will work for Super Mario 3D World. You also do not need Wii Motion Plus for Mario Kart 8, it'll work with the regular WiiMotes.

Playing those games today made me fee like the Wii U was a truly next-gen system. They looked absolutely stunning.
