Has become really unresponsive.
I have had the Switch since April 2018, all in box, I have never replaced, dropped or mistreated the Switch and/or the Joycons, I play in handheld mode exclusively and always keep them in their hard case whenever I am not playing.
All firmwares are official and updated to the latest so are the Joycons.
I noticed today after not playing for 2 months, the A button has become unresponsive and it took 5-7 presses before it registers and even then sometimes I get double input. I further tested this with the "Test Input Devices" in the system settings, all and I mean all buttons are working 'cept for the A; 5-7 presses did not register until the 8th and sometimes by 10th presses I get double input.
Anyone else experience such a thing before?
I believe my warranty's out and I figured my best bet would be a new set of joycons.
TIA for any advices.
EDIT: Just an update, I went ahead and sent my Joycon for repair for $25 (local shop repair service, not Nintendo), been working great so far but I will continue to observe. I'm hoping with this repair I'm anle to save 100 over dollars.
