I followed the "Install bootstrap9 DSiWare Game Injection" tutorial to softmod an old 3DS XL that was on 11.6.0 . I got to the point where I transferred my nintendo account to the target 3DS and finished all the steps to get it softmoded. The mistake I think I made is that I restored my NAND on the source 3DS before transferring back my account to it. Doing this makes the two 3DS use my nintendo account. I basically want my account out of the target 3DS and only have it on the source 3DS.
If I try to do the account transfer from the target 3DS back to the source 3DS I keep getting an error during the transfer:
Source 3DS error msg: ERROR CODE: 014-0016 An error occurred. Please wait a moment and try again. If the same error recurs, check the Operations Manual or visit (nintendo's support website)
Target 3DS error msg: An error has occurred. A local wireless error has occurred. Canceling transfer. Please try again.
Is it because I restored my NAND too early? Can I get some input please? Thanks.
