My 250GB SSD won't work (but 16GB flash drive does)

I have installed homebrew, d2x cIOS and usb loader gx with an SD card and a 16GB flash drive. Everything works perfectly, but now I wanted more storage so I used my 250GB SSD. I format it to FAT32 and put the same games on it. Now usb loader gx recognises my drive but it says 0 games. It doesn't show any of my games, but when I plug the 16gb flash drive in, it works perfectly on it. What have I missed doing with my SSD to have it working with USB loader gx?

SSD takes more power then 500ma so get a y-cable
