i have put the patch in the usrdir but no mods load it wont work can anyone help me figure this out?

Most people here won't help you with that if you want to get into COD modding I would advise you try nextgenupdate, they have a lot of what your looking for. Good luck!

ok first of all its a very old cod most people dont play anway and second who cares about getting banned you can unban yourself on ps3 cfw...

The site he linked is probably the best place to start. Unbanning yourself on PS3 is possible, if you don't mind spending money on console ID's every time.
Trust me I have done some MW2 modding before I got banned pretty quickly maybe about 4-7 days around that before getting console banned. I would advise you against it, but I am not one to stop you.
