Im sure, you have/or have not seen my other topic "Laptop, for birthday" which didn't help much, but what gives. I still haven't decided what to get for my birthday. So, whats the "coolest" thing to have over the summer? From everything to Tech shit too Laptops.

Somthing i forgot to say:
$ limit is about $800.

Nintendo Wii

Nintendo DS
Also have a SHITTYY Computer(and unable find a budget "gaming" comp./laptop)
A Sharp TV(27 inch)

Have you thought about building a custom PC? With an $800 limit, it's very easy to make something that can run most games pretty well. Plus it's easy to learn if you don't know how to build one.

You can salvage parts like Power Supply, RAM, Casing, DVD-ROM and such, to make even more out of your budget.

Some monster graphic cards came out recently and other cards price dropped, this is a good time to get a budget (and yet still high spec) gaming PC.

Note:- a more powerful monster graphics card + bigger hard drive/s = draw more WATTS = possible BLOWN OLD RECYCLED PSU!


maby best to buy a new PSU something like a 500 or more WATT psu to cope with any extra power hungry hardware you may wish to add to your custom machine

additional to upgrading hard drives may also need SATA drive/power connectors either on the new PSU or from adding extra cabling thats plugged into your motherboard to connect your new drive/s
