Gaming Must Activate System Error Please help

Ok, So i have an Original PSP with 1.5 Firmware, I'm using Devhook .52 with 3.11 Firmware, I Have Crash Bandicoot 3 EBOOT.PBP (it's the PSP Version there are no Keys just that files)

I dropped the file into \PSP\Game\Crash\
when I load the Devhook I have it in the memory Card Logo showing and all, but when I try to load i get the error

"To use this content, you must activate the system"

Can somebody please help me with this if any tutorials I would be greatful it's been along time since I have played with this PSP stuff and if theres a better method out there can somebody point me to a detailed tutorial?

Upgrade to 3.52M33 then to 3.80M33 (if that doesn't work go to 3.71M33 then to 3.80M33) then use Network Update to update to 4.01M33. There is no reason to stay on 1.50 as all old homebrew and all new games can still be run.

One last thing so when i do the upgrades do i need to load Dev Hook again?
and if not I assume the EBOOT.PBP Files will just run in the Game Folder, And lastly if Devhook is no longer involved then I would no longer have an ISO folder so what would I do with ISO, & CSO files?

you still have and use an ISO folder.

EBOOTs will run in a folder in the game folder (like ms0:/PSP/GAME/Picodrive)
