Hacking Multiplayer Multicard Flashed vs. Unflashed

Do all games work when you're trying to play a multicard multiplayer game, when one person is using a flashed DS and a ROM, and the other person is using an unflashed DS and the original gamecard?
Or is multicard play like DS download play and both DS need to be flashed? I don't feel comfortable flashing DSL because my flashing tool isn't insulated. (Flat side of a drillbit)

Multicard will work with any combination of flashcards + retails. Also, a good tool, as in the one I used, was a twisty tie that I stripped out the last 5mm of each end and bent flat.

thnx. Next time i get to flash a DS I'll try that. Sounds alot better than drillbits.

You make it sound like it's impossible to insulate it! Just wrap some tape around the end.

Still, I shouldn't mock as I don't yet want to flash my DSL either. I'm waiting until noflashme support latest DS Lites.
