Hi all,

Thinking of getting the SX OS pro setup for my pre-2018 Switch. I have a lot of official games and need access to those and online, but would also like to use backups AND the Lakka side of things for emulation. Can I run Lakka alongside SX OS, and if not is it possible to multi-boot into different CFW while still keeping the legit firmware on the system for online?

Thanks in advance.

1. You can dual boot CFWs (Atmo, ReiNX and SX OS) and other OS's (L4T Ubuntu, L4T Lakka, Android and so on).
However you can't dual boot Atmo and ReiNX at the moment because they both use Sept to chainload and each of them would overwrite the payload in the sept folder by itself.
Atmo and SX OS is no problem. Anything else (Lakka, Ubuntu) can be dual booted anyway and it won't even "touch" your Switch OS (although it might desync the time value in Horizon).
2. There's no guarantee that you won't get banned. However, using a clean sysNAND for online stuff and an emuNAND/emuEMMC for hacks and stuff might be the best bet for you.
I don't know if you can even have only one emuNAND and use that from SX OS and Atmo at the same time but yeah, that way only your sysNAND would go online and Nintendo can't detect a thing.
