Yes, they are not there. These are patch files, only added after running FATMS Mod once.

Don't even try to install it on PSP 3000. It may brick your psp.

Doesn't work on my phat.

I followed the directions for the phat 1000 exactly. I have Gen B2 5.50. I backed up all my flash files. Then copied those 3 files to kd. Then exited USB mode and exited from Recovery menu.

It just semi-bricks my PSP (recovery menu works, nothing else, just a black screen). I tried applying it again, same thing. So I copied my backups over and now my PSP works normally again.

So this hack doesn't seem to work for my 1000. Weird cuz it's a USA launch PSP, and has always been able to do everything and work with every hack. Darn. But at least my PSP still works.

Make sure you backup your files before you try flashing these files over!

Anyone with a 1000 have success?

No, you have to copy ALL THE FIVE files on the zip. If you copy just some of them you will get a semi-brick because they will not find the referenced files. I will make the tutorial clearer.

Installed this on my PSP Slim with 5.50 Gen A and ran blackspeed to do a becnhmarking test and improved the rating from 5.38 up to 5.49.
Not bad, games seem to load a little faster too.

Tried again, and this time removed my MS (Sony 16GB MSPD) before exiting recovery.

Then it exited normally to XMB. Placed my MS in and things seemed normal. But whenever I try to exit recovery with the MS inserted, it does the same hanging behavior. Weird.

Maybe it's something to do with my 16GB MS. In fact maybe that makes sense, because IIRC back at 3.71 there were sometimes issues with MS larger than 4GB or something.

But anyway, I just went back again to the old files, since I really don't have any problem with the load speeds. OK, they could be faster compared to M33-6, but it's OK. Maybe Gen will make a real MS speedup for their next CFW.

Yes, i think the problem is your oversized MS. In older version even 8gb ones have some kind of problem. Thanks for your feedback!

No, it doesn't work. Just replaces GEN recovery menu with M33 one (with this function included). But there is no difference in speed. 5.50-U3R patch also doesn't work.
