* USB LAN Adaptor support fixed (again). Thanks to CountZ3ro? for testing. Please note that you will need to install the USB 2.0 cIOS.
* cIOS improved to stop conflicts with other homebrew. Please note that now only port0 has usb2 support. All other USB devices (including the USB LAN adaptor) must go in port1. See here for details: http://mplayer-ce.googlecode.com/files/usb.jpg
* Horizontal stretch parameter added (see mplayer.conf)
* YouTube? options added to menu.conf (thanks to Extrems)
* Many small bug fixes

Anyone having an issue with this on a 3.3U system? I brought my hard drive to use on my friends Wii, installed cIOS38 v13b, uninstalled his previous 202 cIOS, installed the one on the MPlayer CE page using the IOS36 method, but I have a problem having MPlayer CE recognizing this immediately.

It has also been cutting off on movies here and won't let me restart them until I exit MPlayer and reload it. I haven't had one drop with 0.61 on my system and it recognizes my USB Drive as soon as I choose Wii USB.

Should I just go back to 0.61?

Nice, 0.61 wouldn't work at all for me (wouldn't start), so hopefully I can get this release working!

you using the correct port ?
Yea I am UK. I might just try the previous version since it played movies without stoppages fine on my friends Wii.
Well I upgraded my friends Wii to 4.0U, upgraded to Wanin's cIOS38 Rev 13b, went back to 0.61, deleted the old cIOS202, installed the previous version of 202, configured DVDX, but I was still getting stops during certain flicks.

Then I installed 0.62, deleted the old cIOS202, installed the newer cIOS202 on the MPlayer CE Google Page, configured DVDX and my drive has difficulty being recognized when I choose "Wii Usb". I have to select it 2-3 times for it to be recognized. I am not sure if movies are going to continue to stop, but I wonder if it has something to do with my friends Wii (mine has a Wiikey and his does not), my drive (a WD Elements Portable 400GB) or something I can't figure out with the latest MPlayer builds. 0.61 runs sweet on my Wii and I have yet to try 0.62 on it.

Anyone else having a problem loading playlists over LAN? For me if I select a .m3u playlist it flickers "Loading VOB Subtitles" and never plays. I only tested one playlist...

My major request is to add better support for large directories especially over LAN. Loading my SMB "Music" folder (which has nearly 350 sub folders) takes quite a long time to come up. At least a status indicator so I know it's actually working would be nice.

this release (and previous ones) playback video fine for me, but ever once in a while it will stop video playback and return to the app menu and i'll have to re-mount usb stick before i can play the video again. sometimes seems random, sometimes happens at the same point in a video file. running off usb hdd and usb flash sticks. i have cios 202 installed, connected to port 0.

any ideas why this happens?

I used to drink alcohol fairly often. Never to the point of it being a problem, but like 2-3 beers with dinner each night, or a few cocktails or glasses of Scotch or something. Started smoking/vaping weed a lot a few years back which killed 90% of my interest in booze. Now I stopped smoking/vaping weed as much and just deal with life the boring way most of the time

I only drank alcohol once and it was by accident
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
I didnt know it was beer, it was on a juice bottle
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Yeah, I'm addicted to smoking, sadly. It's very addictive but I wish I didn't start.

May just order a 5700g for a nas/emulation set up tbh

@SylverReZ, you played that Mario flash game called Mario 63?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, No, but I've seen it on Vinesauce's stream.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, that game is one of the reasons i met newgrounds bc the full versión of it is in that site
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Also somebody is remaking it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, the other game where I found newgrounds is new york shark

Spoke to Tom Fulp the other day, if he can find his old Newgrounds site content like the mini Flash animations from the 2000's that played on the portal.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
So far no response, but he did say that he'll find them. Wayback Machine doesn't have em.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, atleast the 1999 versión of pico's school is avaliable (the difference between it, the 2006 versión and the 2016 versión is that the speed of the game depends of the speed of your computer and that it had the og soundtrack)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Another being Pico VS Bear, the original 1999 version before Jim Henson filed a DMCA takedown.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
The 2006 versión was made when the flash portal was made
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Many people thought it was lost, but was discovered that he hid it on the same page.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, although the "secrets" system where the game was has been removed. Also pico vs uberkids had a netplay versión that was shutdown, although the swf file has been found
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Nope. There are two download buttons on the same page, where you can download the original under a file called "bear.exe". "bear2.exe", however, is the updated game in a Flash projector. P.s. this was on the archived Pico page from 2000.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's been there for a long time, too. People who search for lost media don't look hard enough lmao.
