Does anyone know how to change the YouTube playlists? For example, I want to change the "Billy Mays" one to a playlist I have on my own YouTube page. I've changed the 16 characters after "id=" to what I thought was the 16 character playlist on my page but it didn't work.

I fixed it. Had a space between the = and 16 characters.

The may be a problem with you input.cfg file.

It controls what happens when you press a button on your mote.

Try replacing it?

This happens with me...its fine on teh first run but then the button configs all fail and i get home and 1 buttons chaneg sub position etc and i cant get out or turn off

I deleted mplayer app folder from both usb and sd and also there was a input.config in usb:\config which i deleted
then i put in mplayer 0.75 a clean version again (in sd )and its seems to run fine now.....that said i blew my mates projector bulb so cant play wii at his oooops

Answers:
1. Latest version 0.75, people are waiting for the new GUI version (no idea when its coming out).

2. I don't know, I just run it in HBC as an app. I'm sure someone made it a channel.

3. No dvdx needed, I installed the cIOS here: http://code.google.com/p/mplayer-ce/wiki/USB20
and can now play DVDs (I don't use my wii for this though, the navigation isn't that good in my experience).

I have around 75 movies on my HDD, and it always takes a long time to navigate in the movies folder.
It takes +-45 seconds to enter it. I'm wondering if you could maybe speed it up in the next version?
In Geexbox, it was almost instantly (1 second max.), so it must be possible.

It's not a huge deal, but although my usb HD was 100% compatible according to the test, I need to reboot the HD each time for it to mount in Mplayer. It works fine without rebooting with the other usb loaders and geexbox... I don't know if this is fixable but it would be more convenient.

Well you can use the Wii Opera Browser, but you won't be satisfied. I tried Megavideo and it was kinda stuttering. I guess the Flash used isn't that powerfull as we want it to be. I mean YouTube works fine, but when you turn fullscreen on the videos doesn't play as smoothly as on a small window.

New gui will be out when it's done. Try to ask on the IRC channel if they chose a skin already.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have subtitles disabled by default? I find it annoying to have to turn it off every time I put in a DVD movie.

For instance, i only use one usb drive with films on the fat partition, to keep films on. im sure many users are the same.


I click on open-file-wii usb-fat32

four wasted clicks every time i want to choose something. Even worse it confuses the wife what ones to press.

be great if you could specify a drive and type and have an open command or a quick open which took you straight to the root of your drive.

review menu.conf look at usb opening path, change to that dir you wan't as default opening for FAT/NTFS

This editing Menu.cfg is really getting to me as I have really made a mess of it.

Would one of you please make me a menu that has subtitles OFF by default.
Allows me to Play DVD's
Loads a USB Fat32 Drive in Home Directory x:\Movies (with the ability to navigate sub directories within the main directory "Movies"

I dont use anything else. I would REALLY appreciate it!
