Oh I know, but it scrolls through 2 time formats and then the OSD disable and enable options. I thought it would be cool if I could just go through the track time even faster without touching any disable enable options, but also not having it stay on during playback.

Alright I read the readme and it never says anything about DVDx, do I need it?

Hmm can someone help me compiling it?
I always get the same error:

mplayer.c:2622: warning: ISO C90 forbids mixed declarations and code

I will also try to update mit devkitpro. Maybe that will help.

And where should be the dol when its finished properly? Mplayer.dol? In which folder?

sorry, yes you do require a valid DVDX installation for DVD's

to compile mplayer, you require latest devkitpro, and use the following source from google code, their is a compiling wiki as well for help, mplayer.dol goes to mplayer-trunk

There is subtitle support AFAIK. Try playing a file with the subtitle file in the same folder with the same filename, eg example.avi and example.srt.

I've tried the new one, and it's much smoother (at least for me) than 0.1. Realy a Improvement for me. Only sad-thing: USB-HD still don't work...I'm shure the Team will figure that out with the time

@Images for a new Look: Around 80% done...I'm bored, and make this for fun...I don't think that the coders can or will code these in, because they would require to edit the source code...but I still hope they might, or be able to

...if not, it isn't sad, at least the time passed

I don't say that USB don't works, I said that my USB-HD (which worked in GeeXboX) don't works (Code Dump if I plug it in while running MPlayer, not recognized when booting up MPlayer). The only USB-Stick I have (an SD-to-USB Adapter) works perfect since 0.1 (it also worked in GeeXboX and DMP). But my 80-GB HD won't be recognized...

BlueK, did you try inserting that 80gig HDD before loading mplayer?
also if still no look, power wii off, insert USB, as IOS may be the issue aswell, then load mplayer by whatever means you do so.
please try, sorry about USB, it's hard to improve now :S

Also on another note, since you are testing your artistic skills maybe you can do a nice BG image for MPlayerCE, never know may feature it in next update, change in loop.avi, if that is ok. We will see.

Also do you know you can edit the font size? have a try, or search around for mplayer fonts.

Nope, don't worked...HD had Power, until I selected USB in MPlayer...HD was unmounted (no light) and then a Code Dump happend...but no need to worry, I don't realy need USB

Oh...you'll see tomorrow what my wishes are...I think I've done very beautiful, minimaistic BGs...I just need around 5 Pics more to finish...I'll release them tomorrow, with a little documentation...

hi .. i'm loving the updates!! thank you!!

small issue i have seen is when you set the aspect to 16:9 in the options it only sticks until loop.avi restarts and than it goes back to 4:3 ..

oh and why do shows start over when their done ? , can it not just stop and go back to the menu ?

Have you tried autobooting mplayerce into 16/9 you will get fullscreen all the time, till you change aspect in options.
add this line in mplayer.conf
aspect=1.7777

Since I have zero coding skills, I can't tell if it even would be possible to edit those...I just share my dream, how I would love to see MPlayer. And therefore, "My" MPlayer will look slightly different, and would need some (maybe too hard) changes to the source....so I don't think this is gona happen...Images are here:

Do with them whatever you want, you can watch them, edit them, use as Wallpaper, etc .P...Even if we won't see MPlayer in this style, at least I was able to show how Important this project for me is, and that I support the creators

This is very nice, I think it would be great if mplayer looked like this. However it might be very difficult to do, I will look into it!
