Homebrew Mplayer CE Playlist issue

I have Mplayer CE installed on my softmod 4.2u Wii.

I have my usb hard drive connected loaded with A bunch of episodes of the office. I can access them all perfectly in MPlayer CE.

However, I connected my hard drive to my pc, selected all the files i wanted from the hard drive, and created an M3U playlist. I saved it to the Hard drive, and plugged it back into my wii.

I go to open playist and navigate to the M3U file to open it, i press a to open it, and nothing happens. at all. It doesnt freeze. i can still move up and down. absolutely no words or errors come up, just nothing. How can i fix this? :[

EDIT: I am now using WiiMC. Problem solved.

Why don't you try WiiMC if you haven't already.

But why not make it easier and jsut select them manually or let Mplayer-CE play them in the order alphabetically?

Thank you for the suggestion! WiiMC is a much better program all around.
