Nice. I didn't know there was a Mac compatible channel wad creator out there. I'll try it out when I get the chance.

I tried it and it didn't work... are you using the simple or the complex forwarder?

in the options tab i just selected wanni from the nand loader box and then clicked the forwarder button and typed Mplayer_Ce and then clicked create

I'll upload the one I made if you want to try it??

Really? After I click the forwarder button I have to choose between "Simple Forwarder" and "Complex Forwarder"... anyways, if you could upload it that would be great!

Has anyone had success with mp ce and windows 7 over smb? i can get it to connect to the computer, but no matter how i try to set things up it does not display any files that im sharing.

Working fine for me...

Tell me how you set up your file sharing.

Also, did you get it to work previously on another version of windows?

I also cannot get it to work... I've shared a folder on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64x PC, and edited the smb.conf file correctly... I am going to look into my LAN itself... other than that, any ideas?

What I've done to get it to work is turn off password sharing in the network and sharing centre. Hope this helps. So much easier with XP tho.

Here you go let me know if it works for you as it did for me http://www.mediafire.com/?jzjg2xd5wio

this player is awesome. Better than any DVD-DIVX players and PS3 player.

Awesome work men, keep the good work.
Thank you a lot.

PS: What are the future improvements to do with this player?

They've been making a new gui for this program and are adding new features with every release most of the info is on the official website and download pages

WOOHOO! It works. No more dump on exit. Thanks for the forwarder!

This might be a dumb question because I might be over looking something obvious but ... can I ask how does MPlayerCE 0.76 directory play feature work ???
I looked and couldn't find any documentation elaborating/explaining feature other than the statement that the feature was added!
With Geexbox you press the "A" button over a folder to play that folder of content ... the same does not work with MPlayerCE ... so I am not sure how the function works ???

*Edit* Thanks longtom1 ... I can confirm after testing 0.76 further that looks like the case ... after selecting a file 0.76 automatically plays the following files in a folder in sorted order
