Hardware Mp3 player

I've searched a bit but haven't found anything regarding mp3 players on the Psp go.
Yes I know it comes with a pretty decent player, but it seems the screen will always be on while playing music (and thus draining the battery like crazy).
Anyone know of a good homebrew that can turn the psp go in a nice mp3 player that doesn't kill its on battery?

Isn't there a screen brightness button on the GO that you can hold down to turn the backlight off?

hold.prx is a lifesaver when your psp is used as an mp3 player.
