Hi, i have successfully softmodded my wii and i have read that updating after doing so can brick your wii. When i put new super mario bros in on the disc channel it says system update but we just play it through riivolution. I would like to move the disc channel but holding a+b and trying to move it fails. I heard of priiloader for usb loader gx etc but would not really like that. I would also like to be connected to the internet at all times.

or you could just enable the "block disk updates" hack, then you can load games from the disk channel like normal.

btw, to enable any of the hacks with the latest priiloader, you will need to save the hacks_hash.ini (right-click > save as...) to the root of you sd card

NOTE: you only need the hack_hash.ini on your sd card when you want to change the hacks. So you can delete it after enabling the hacks you want

Im just copying what i wrote in his other thread: http://gbatemp.net/t274751-move-disc-channel-from-sight (No Need to make two threads the same, that is just spamming)

First download Priiloader , then install it with the Homebrew Channel
Then copy hacks_hash.ini (right-click "Save Link As.")on to the root of your fat32 device (SD or USB)
Restart your Wii while holding in the reset button to bring up priiloader.
Once in the Priiloader menu go into system menu hacks and enable Block Disc and Online Updates as well as move Disc Channel.
Save settings and start the Wii normally.
Done.

Yeah didn't mean to make 2 copies sorry, i would guess this should be the main one haha, thanks for help guys will try the no disk update later as that seems to be the easiest way.
