Gaming motherboard version help

hi

i'm thinking of getting a psp lite

and i was wondering about the version that cant be downgraded
im watching a couple of psp's of ebay but all the info i have is that there serials numbers are

HB2594640
HB0178829

both are psp-2003

whats the chances that there ok to install custom firmware

buy a PSP 2000 and AVOID the 3000s

Buy a special edition like God of War or the Daxter one to make sure but check them.

firmware 4.xx below are hackable so check the PSP if you're in a store.

DONT BUY the Black PSP as it's guaranteed TA-088v3
