XD Australia's a joke country.
Looks at Sylar1's flag. Finds it hard to stop laughing. Oh Sylar1 you so funny!

Back on topic: Did anyone seriously not see this coming? After all the hype this game was getting about being aimed at a mature audience and way more violent.

At least i don't have to worry about buying whatever games i want in my country

, well besides the games that don't come here, like the ones that don't leave japan.

Hang on it hasn't been banned it's been refused classification. So I guess it's not contraband just yet.
The classification board of Australia has actually banned some books and quite a few movies in Australia too. Ken Park for example was a movie recently banned in Aus. I saw it and really wouldn't like my kids to see that film.

What the fuck do they think this game is going to do? Just slap an MA15+ Restricted Logo on it, put warnings about it's violence on the game itself when you load it up or just censor everything that makes this game good like they did to L4D2.

Seriously though I am sad to be an Australian gamer when it comes to this.

Then you're being a responsible parent. You seen it, you didn't let your kids. That's the way it should be with games. Because of parents being too lazy to take 10 minutes out of their busy schedule, they buy violent games for their kids, and find out that it's a horrible game, and then they put the blame on someone else.

If there were more parents like you down there, a lot of stuff wouldn't be banned/censored in Australia. That, and the fact that the board really has to update their horrible rating system.

Australians just need to listen to their instincts and import (many do), do not support the censorship of games in your region.
