Seeing as SNS seems to be quite confidently a New 3DS only thing, I don't really see any reason why I should update my old 3DS to 10.3. That way I can get Browserhax back. And I really don't want to wait for a 10.4 to suddenly appear that fixes the stuff they've now made ridiculously public.

Memchunkhax 2 seems to promise ARM11 kernel on all firmwares, O3DS and N3DS alike.
It's all a matter of seeing where it goes.

I believe the way it works is that you have to have verified the browser for the DNS to work.
"Verified" implying that you need to have used it successfully at least once after the 9.9 update.
In other words, having updated to 9.9 and never having used the browser will mean that you have to update to 10.3 and "Verify" the browser for it to be usable with the DNS enabled.
Of course, this could also be wrong. I'm not too well versed on the subject because I'm personally on 9.2 and documentation about the browser nag is somewhat scarce.

tried url several times but keep getting an error has occured message.

have cleared save data several times. I did the DNS change before opening the browser, and i don't think ive ever used the browser before now. Have I screwed up?

No, you definitely haven't screwed up, but it should definitely be working.
The only thing that comes to mind here is whether or not you're using the right URL and whether or not the Homebrew Menu files are all in the right place.

I tried without the DNS change and it worked! So now menuhax is installed im sorted? It boots when I hold L

Better to have like two or three threads popping up every month than the weekly flood of 'I UPDATED TO 10.4 IS THERE STILL HOPE?????????', I think. I'm just trying to help out.
Even though they wind up showing up anyway.
It'd probably help if there was at the very least a consolidated sticky on the board, though.

Can anybody else test all the browserhax pages with and without the DNS?
It sounds like turning manual DNS off might have been a fluke, but that's kind of up in the air.
I've tested the original Sliderhax on my console and it works with DNS both on and off.

Okay, I found something really really weird.
The whole browser was bugged, any page load would lead to the "An error occured" message, even with savedatas resets.
After a few savedata cleans and 3DS reboots (much try and fail) I managed to get the browser back to work on "legit" pages.
Then I tried again browserhax: I could access the page (I see the video player showing up). But it get stuck on a gray bottom screen and then kick me back to home menu with the same error message.
Both with auto.php and fright_tx3g.php

I am having the same problem. Going into eshop first through the homebrew browser does not work either. I'm on 10.3.28U

Where're you trying to load the eShop installer from?
I've read that running Homebrew Launcher from Menuhax works, whereas loading it from the browser doesn't.

Maybe you guys should try redownloading Hans since the EShop with old access is a Hans shortcut.

Lol the sliderhax still working for me on 10.3. I didnt update the bin file on sdcard either but thanks for the Tutorial.
But the Eshop does not work if i use sliderhax on 10.3 is just load forever. Like the for the 10.3 one works no problems.

I have 3ds 10.0 and I formatted it and the SD card. I put in the dns and open the browser but it says that the browser can't be used at this moment try again later. Please help me.
