As an existing Gateway owner (& occasional user) I'm looking forward to the release, but it's hard to get hyped when weeks become months.

Gateway should really learn to not announce anything far ahead of what time they can execute.
This is true of all devs.

Fuck hype, no announcements ahead of time, just release it when it's ready.

If the end product is awesome the hype will take care of itself.
If it is something that could make people buy their product again, it damn well better be good. They wouldn't want to have a warehouse in China full of Gateway carts now. :/
I find it difficult to believe that anything they're cooking up (it's almost certainly sighax) would sell hardware at this stage.

Especially with the release of the community's sighax implementation imminent.

The more time that passes between the release of ours and theirs, the bigger the nail in their proverbial coffin.

Rip gateway lmao.

Now by community standards, anything gateway releases after this point is stolen.

(that's a joke, in case you missed it)

I don't own one, but two of my friends bricked because of that stupid brick code Gateway implemented, so I have a valid opinion
So you are firends of the 2 people that bricked with their original gateway!!! so you are popular, or your friends are people that used clones :( thats so sad, that your friends have little brain and used something that could damage their 3ds even thought they were warned

True, I also am a bit suspicious about it but I can't assume anything at this point. I realized when they are releasing something worthwhile, they announce what it is. Because they haven't said anything specific, it's anyone's guess, it may not be that game changing. Who knew a simple flash cart update can be so suspenseful...
