Hi everyone,

I'm using Moonshell 2.10 with an AK2i (AKAIO 1.5.1) and i can't figure out how to exit back to AKAIO firmware.

I renamed "akmenu4.nds" to "RPGS.nds" and put it in the moonshl2/resetmse directory but all i get is a freeze (white top screen and black bottom screen).

Does anyone has a solution to make MS2 soft reset working properly?

Thx for any answer.

My soft-reset works fine.
Using Ak2i - AKAIO 1.5.1 with MS2.10Stable

I'm using the moonshell softreset file (v0.6?). I don't have a sd-adapter atm so I can't check the file but from memory its 144kb (63kb zipped)

I think the file is reset.mse , just rename it to your CARDNAME.nds and it should work.

Not to say you're wrong, but to clarify:

reset.mse = Game Soft Reset -- I'm not sure what type of file it is, but I think it's a specific file type.
CARD.nds = Exit to Firmware -- This can be any NDS, though it probably needs to be DLDI patched.

the reset.mse im talking about is from an older version of ms.
card.nds is usually just the mainmenu.nds or reset.mse file for the cart.

ive found a microsd adapter and ill ul the file in a bit.
Also, heres what it says when I 'Exit to FW' (screen changesfast so might miss some)
-----------
boot Moonshell Execute SoftReset 0.6b4a

DLDI Version
-----------------------
(theres some more but im too lazy to keep resetting, already reset 5 times)

EDIT: Try this
http://filetrip.net/f9782-Moonshell2-Soft-Reset-0-6b4a.html

I included the reset.mse and the renamed one for AK2i (both exactly the same file)

This is opposed to the normal AK2i soft-reset where it says something else.

1.Put rpgs.mse/mselink.exe/akmenu4.nds in the same folder (rpgs.mse mselink.exe from http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=208136 mshl2tools_r27.7z)
2.in cmd.exe: mselink rpgs.mse /akmenu4.nds ak2i.nds
3.Copy it as /moonshl2/resetmse/RPGS.nds and /moonshl/plugin/reset.mse

I'm using this installation and it works 100%.
Actually XXXX.nds = MoonShellExecute reset.mse - special MSE information on memory
