ROM Hack Monster Hunter X queries.

Hi all. Few easy questions I hope.

1. I have a MHX CIA which has a recent English patch already on it. I also have a file that's v1.2 that I need to patch it with I believe, but it doesn't say what it is. What does it do and how do I patch it to the CIA?

2. Is it as simple as installing the MHX CIA via FBI and just playing? (Once the prerequisites are done of course).

3. Is it safe to play online?

I have ReiNand with emuNAND at 10.5 on a N3DS.

Yeah, just install both with FBI and you are good to go. And you can play online no problem.

Which do I install first?

With it being a JPN region title, can I load it from the home screen or do I need to use anything in HBL?

You can load it from the home screen and it doesn't really matter what order. Just do game and then the update
