Yea it works 100%, it came from a legit download from the servers. So the titlekey was leaked and that allows the game to boot 100%. I wonder if they will ban the person that has it legally downloaded on their non cfw switch :P

They can track the leak, yes.

Wellll. They can't. The titlekey is not bound to ones account. It's what everyone would get on release day. Each game has its own unique title id, right id (titleid basically), and titlekey. So they couldn't just say "oh well this titlekey came from this guy. Ban him!"

They did this with Pokemon leaks for USUM, if you have it then the only way you got it was by CDN abuse even if you hid behind a cert. 1+2=3.
Even if they ban you from cdn you can still update though.Heck we could get these nsp files from anywhere now, unless you are using nxshop they arent even tied to your console id.

Actually no. There are 2 types of bans, a ban that blocks you from online, and a cdn ban. We call this a cert burn. You cant get updates, you cant download games, you can't access online.

Unless you are just meaning an online ban?...

You can still update without cdn, game carts have updates and they always will. you can even do this

You're forced to do everything manually and with the risks involved.

Not off the key. But by looking at who has the game digitally now, it would be a reviewer. Theyve caught multiple reviewer leaks in the past, people burning their YouTube careers.

All that being said its probably worth waiting 11 days to be safe, plenty of other stuff to play!

You will get banned pirating games and going online anyway, no way around it. If you want to play online you will have to buy a second switch and install no hacks.
That’s not true at all I have been doing it for well over 2 months now soon as the sxos was made available and I’m still not banned I just make sure everything I do is correct. I install nsp’s, go online with xci using the correct donor method certificates, update via cfw the lot but playing a AAA title like this nearly a week earlier will certainly get your console banned, it’s not even registered on eshop! There are quite a few of us doing these steps with back ups without being banned yet, it’s just we don’t go around advertising all the time we’re not.

Fake news, just because you haven't been banned yet doesn't mean you won't get banned, you eventually will

I think they both had ban waves (ultra and og), those games probably had extra checks too.
No, what happened is that pokemon sun and moon were leaked before and not even the reviewers were allowed to test online, hyper ban to those who dared because they were supposed to be empty

It is the full game.
Game was available the exact same day medias got their codes from Capcom... Coincidence??
Dead cells is a different story though.

This is the problem with pirating, you don't give games a chance anymore and drop them after 5 mins.
But in reality that is all a digital downloadable game is worth. Absolutely nothing.
But the physical release has value so maybe worth the purchase even if you don't play it
I hate all rpg or turn based games but still buy them when they're cheap

They are worth the same no matter how they are stored, its the same game and code.

Some freeshop kinda software doesn't use your own Cert plus if you stay offline with no connections added then it will be impossible for Nintendo to ban you since ur not sending anything since there isn't any internet whatsoever on the console. If you do get banned fully then you can still update your system using choidujour
