The G stands for a funny way for them to say "Expansion." Don't ask, but most expanded Monster Hunters have G in their title (like Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G). Basically, second game in the series, based on the first one, with expansion stuff.

It's Japanese only.

And it plays and looks nothing like WoW.

It is probably one of the best action games I've played, honestly.

No. Only through softchip that I know of. TBH its not worth it. I rather play MH3 demo over and over again.

I know the MH3Demo works fine on USB Loader, but I have not been able to get MHG to work using USB Loader. I am using the latest version of USB Loader Ultimate.

Unless Waninkoko somehow can fix this with an upgraded cIOS or USB/SD Loader, then the only way I think it may be possible now is if some adds an option to the USB Loader to run this game with a cIOS of choice. Just an idea though.

What so 'not worth it' about softchip? Just d/l the dol and run from HBC. It's not too much of a hindrance when I play MHG. But yeah I think someone with skillz should look into a USB loader solution

the problem is you need cIosCorp to run monster hunter G with softchip
and i dont what to risk a brick

or is there a way to use monster hunter G with softchip without cIosCorp???

AWESOME!!!!! THAT SOLUTION WORKED!!!! SOFTCHIP R90, then press +, change into IOS55 and launch the game!! Presto!!! Took me 5-6 hours to get this damn thing to work, YEAH!!!
