Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

We actually installed everything like you said in the instructions WITHOUT any errors.
We got to that part "Hack Suggestions: Auto press A at health screen, Block disc updates, Block online updates, Remove NoCopy save file protection, Recovery mode press d-pad..., Region free everything." after that, we selected System Menu and the Wii restarted..
but now we are stuck on a black screen saying "Wii 4.3(USA)"

Ive been looking on the net, some people were sayin that it might be cause by the Auto press A at health screen.. but I dont think its the case.

disable the recovery mode hack in priiloader...should fix your problem...

Hey guys!

I followed all the instructions on the website here and now I cant get my Wii to start.
(Ive done this before on Wii v4.1u) but my friend have a new one 4.3u (black) and we did the smash stack hack, everything was fine.

I did my nand backup but I cannot even use it since the screen is just all black.

Is there anything I can do to make it work properly?

You enabled the hack in priiloader to force it into recovery mode. Which is why its showing the firmware version in the bottom right corner.

Start priiloader again and then disable all your hacks and then restart the wii.

After the wii loads properly then go back into priiloader and re enable the proper hacks.

Sorry if it sounds "newbish" but.. how do I get back to the Priiloader again ?
Im stuck on that blackscreen with the 4.3USA at the bottom right corner. I pressed the power, reset, eject, I cant even use my wiimote anymore it doesnt "sync" with the Wii.

I have a 4.3U first day wii and the IOS236 installer always freezes at getting ios revision 3551(?)
I have HBC 1.8 and all gamecube cards/controllers removed... I have the wad in the root

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could help me with a slight (slight used lightly here) problem. I have a black wii that I personally modified using this guide. I've done a few now, and I've gotten pretty good at it lol

Anyways, I am on 4.2U and I would like to do 2 things.

1) Just after I modified the system, I was no longer able to play wii games. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it.

2) Also I noticed that I am not able to use the internet channel without upgrading to 4.3. Is there a way around this? In other words can I install some sort of wad that will allow me to browse without updating to 4.3. Or must I update?

1) What happens when you try to run a game?
2) You must not have installed Priiloader and blocked updates. Do so.

yup I forgot to configure the hacks.ini file. So games are running now.

So I still can't use the internet channel. is there a way I can use the internet channel with out updating ??? via installing some sort of wad

btw i do have priiloader.

use modmii and install internet channel (+ios55), latest d2x and .....

When i get to the step that says to activate system menu hacks, i get:
"Can't find hacks .ini on FAT device"
"Cant find hacks .ini on NAND"
Am i doing something wrong?

Are you using the filepacks from mediafire? Did you already have an older version of priiloader installed and skipped this priiloader installation? Post a syscheck, and what version priiloader says it is.

Lol, I figured it would be best not to respond to that. It wasn't easy, considering how many jokes could be made. I've been offered money a few times after helping people unbrick Wii's (never accepted though), but I've never seen "coochie" being offered as a thank you.

You're in America, just get one, should take you no more than 5 minutes to get approved for one/trapped into a ball & chain deal

I had just done the Priiloader installation and I set my hacks.
I restarted my wii and got a black screen saying 4.3(EUR)

I thought that my Wii was bricked and nearly shat myself.
Luckily, I just disabled the Priiloader hacks and it worked.

You just needed to disable the Force Recovery Mode one (the name is probably different, but it's something like that). You need to re-enable Block Online Updates and Block Disc Updates.
