My HBC is upside-down too! I got used to it...i am too bored to change it...! Well...another question...is there any GameCube iso loaders over there? i couldn't manage to find anything good! :S

easy fix for this is to run Hackmii installer and install HBC again.

I have a major problem!

I upgraded to 4.2 so i can have a virgin copy.

I go ahead and run bannerbomb.

once hackmii loads it says there is no available ios.

What am I doing wrong? I know this should run smoothly. Everyone is getting it to work.

I have used the 3.X - 4.1 Method and eveything went smooth , the only problem I have is the rockband2 will
reconise the microphone but will not sync the guitar or drums using usbloader Gx Ihave tried using both cIOS 249, and 223 both boot the game and reconise the microphone but no Guitar and drums . I have read many pages here and tried alot of things to resolve this issue , but to no avail .. Would greatly appreciate some advise to resolve this ....Thanks Bud

What can't you do anymore? The instructions are still good and work step by step. I just modded my friend's Wii a couple days ago with the directions that are currently up.

Hi,
i Have model LU65+ with version 4.2U and I follow the exact directions and I encounter a error message. I am new at this please help? Did I missing something? Thanks

4.2 Method.

2] Run Any Title Deleter DB
Choose IOS 36 and press A.
Go to System Titles and press A.
Select IOS 222 and press A to delete.
Select IOS 223 and press A to delete.
Select IOS 249 and press A to delete.
Select IOS 250 and press A to delete.

Error message:

Intialing Filesystem driver...OK!
Wipping off fingerprints...
- deleting ticket file/ticket/00000001/0000000.tik...
ticket delete failed (no ticket?) -102
- deleting ticket file/ticket/00000001/0000000...
error! isfs_delete(ret = -102)

Checking system region...

pulling sysmenu tmd...error! isfs_op (ret = -102)

i know this error you got this because you only think you did step 1a,b,c correctly. go back to steps 1 and do it right.

I finally managed to install everything according to the guide. Apparently my Wii wasn't bricking because of Truca but because of PreLoader (probably something to do with wrongful configuration). Anyway, I updated to 4.2 and consequently did the 4.2 portion of the guide.

I was under the impression that following the guide would allow me to boot backup games directly from the Disk Channel. However, it isn't working (at least not for Super Smash Bros. Brawl PAL). Did I do something wrong or is this not supported for 4.2 yet?

So the answer is that I misunderstood the guide and that while it enables me to later do the aforementioned things by using an external application, nothing in the guide or package does on its own enable me to play backup games?

cIOSCORP is mentioned in the "After Modding" section and includes a link.

Is the 4.2 guide ment to upgrade from 4.1?
What if i have a Pal WII, the guide 4.1 with Pal needed some special files like hack.ini etc.
Do i have to do anything special? Like clearing all old hack before i upgrade to 4.2?

Any help with these questions would be super, thank you in advacne.

isn't this proccess be done while you're offline?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
We are not Nintendo, so we don't know exactly how/why/when they ban, but better to stay on the safe side and not do shady stuff, if you don't want to be banned. Hayato is one of the most knowledgeable ones here on the subject and I believe what he says.

  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
@BigOnYa, Yes ofc we don't know how Nintendo bans work, but if there are situations where a lot of people have tried safely then we can at least assume that this path is pretty much safe. To say don't try anything homebrew relative just to be safe forever is the easiest thing to say to someone. What I am trying to figure out here is with which cases and what actions got most of the people their bans for.
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
Most things I can find resulting to a ban is save-editing reasons, like Pokehex, etc, and going online afterwards.
