Rebooting with hooks doesn't work for me. I get a black screen when going back to the menu after pressing B.

Odd, it works fine for me through both the channel and HBC. it only back screened on me once, i'll try to see which settings causes this, if any at all (might just be a random bug in gamma).

I've been working on it for well over a month now

without the luxury of BootMii, i have to triple check my work to make sure I dont accidently brick myself during development.

true, but i didn't build this from scratch from the ground up, its based on 3.2

viva la custom firmware!

also could some of you guys try to help those having trouble getting things going? Im doing about a million things at once at the moment, its a madhouse.

what does the autoboot feature do compaird to non auto boot
if i installed this version wouldi still be able to play originals just by placing disc in wii

Update:Tried every possible combination of reboot options, couldnt get it to black screen on me again. Might be a random bug with homebrew, because every so often WAD manager does the same thing.

Nevermind, I didn't realize I had to have a disc in the drive before pressing 'B' to reboot.

It's all good now.

- Nintendo branding removed
- backup loader "Gamma 0.3" version removed (The background color from previous version (blue) can help differentiate the version possibly..)
- Press 1 to load the menu removed

IMHO; I like the custom banner for the channel that was done up with similar requests b4 for previous version.

You dont necessarily have to, both of my autoboot channels install under the title BWGL in NAND, so you can just install the gamma one and it will overwrite the old beta

Just pick up a channel you like the banner design of and reinject it with the dol from the first post here will ya.

basically its just i dont want some n00b whos using my console or my 2 nephews am softmodding for xmas to go anywer near the rebooter or the config menu, if the ability was still there cool but they wouldnt know about it

i personally like the nintendo branding it looks authentic, but maybe the GammA 0.3 should be removed for more real Wii feeling

I like what you say. I guess just use the channel posted by tgames a few posts up, seems to be a crowd fav.
