I had in mind to buy a router+modem so i can finally go online with my 3DS.
Right now i have a ZyXEL P-660HN-T1A and it sucks.
Always getting Communication error-ed everywhere,in game,in browser, getting DC on Laptops etc.

I checked 1 of the shops and found a Tenda W300D for 32 Euro(42$).
Anyone heard about Tenda and is the modem good?
I'll update the thread when i find more Routers+Modems.

separate modem + router/AP is better combination.
run it with bridge mode and hook it up to your router.

I never use Tenda products and probably never will, but I see lot's of tenda ads lately.
almost every networking products I use is from TP-Link, mainly because it's cheap, but not just cheap it also working well.
I've tried more than 7 brands for modem, not much difference in performance (price range from $8-60) probably because I use it in bridge mode.
Leave the extra works to router (dhcp, QoS, portforward, etc).

if you are just using internet connection just for your self, any cheap combinations will do, if you going to share your connection with lot's of people/device constantly, you might need powerful router for that.

oh gawd why

A simple AP-Router + Modem all-in-one from TP-Link will be fine. I've seen some Tenda stuff around here, but I still have to use some myself. They don't look too cheap, but you never know how good their firmwares are.

TP-Link is assured to be awesome. Oh, and ZyXEL sucks. Also D-Link. Stay away from those.

I've bad experience with surge and lightning.
it fries my modem and Motherboard LAN Port, and PSU few times, yes few times. I think I was lucky it didn't fried my HDD.

almost all my computer LAN port is broken, that's also why I decide to go full wireless on my network.
I thought it was from power line, but it's not, it always from phone line.
