Modding switch only with a trinket m0 chip?

I have a confirmed unpatched Switch that is not modded. Do I need a jig or can I use the trinket instead to enter into rcm mode the hack the switch for the very first time?

You still need a jig unless you do 7 wires dual boot method, if you don't want to use an external payloads launcher then use the trinket but requires soldering.
