Hacking Modding Lite touchscreen to PHAT?

Well good day,
I do own a DS phat and its touchscreen seems to be broke for months.
Then at my birthday, a colleague give me a touchscreen replacement for ds as a gift, but not knowing that the one he ordered was for the ds lite.
The bad thing is:
I don't have enough money to buy a tscreen for phat.
I can't trade or sell the tscreen either.


So a question suddenly came to my mind....

is it possible to mod or extend the ribbon wire of the lite's tscreen so that it could be connected to the port/socket of my ds phat?

No they cannot be adapted - the cable is out the side on a DS Phat and at the top on a Lite

That's only the touch-sensitive film thing. I think OP needs the LCD screen. That one's $15.

well man as i've said, got no budget for that. hmmm... by the way thanks for the advice. maybe i'll just get some work to have some income.

(maybe i can flip the wire to the back of the lcd screen then extend it to the socket.. hehe)
