Hacking Modchipsdirect - Sent me faulty cart, not responding

Bought a sky3ds+ and got it a week later. Formatted my microsd (sandisk) using the tool from one of the threads to fat32. Put in a 3ds rom for US and tried using it. Nothing. No lights or anything. Tried a few more roms, nothing. Switched microsd cards, nothing. I used the microusb port for the sky3ds+ cart to see if it shows up and I got a stm32 bootloader driver not found error.
Emailed modchipsdirect and they're asking me about the firmware and microsd cards to switch out and I tried and replied but no go. It's been a week and I've emailed them twice with no response. Going to do a chargeback at this point.

Sandisk microSDs of 64GB+ in size have an extra partition which you have to get rid of before using it on a Sky3DS+.
