Mod Switch V1

Greetings,
I'm new so hello everyone
I've read a few threads and I apologize for not understanding the topic well.
I have a switch v1 I'm about to mod with the jig but I don't have the RCM.
Once I have made the change to switch from original mode to mod, do I necessarily need the RCM? (I don't have an android phone)

You can enable AutoRCM so you don't need a jig. But you always have to inject a payload if your switch is fully turned off, crashes to force off state or battery run out. Else it isn't much you need to do.
