Current modchip (drive firmware chip) code is just about as good as it's going to get. Mod now.

The only thing better would be a "true" modchip which would allow Wii homebrew, and I don't expect to see that any time soon (a year or more). I also don't ever expect to see a "softmod.""

I have my Wii with Cyclo, and I have some concerns about DVD9....
Will wii use DVD9? Will this require new upgrades (firmware) or new chips?

I think I'm going to wait and see what improvements and new features come along. I've never really modded any of my console hardware on my own, so I'd rather wait it out and see =).

wiikey -- i think im gonna order it.. now which retailer has the latest version of the wiikey.. are their 2 hardware version? or is there just one hardware version with firmware updates avaialble on the net? I want to get the most recent one.
