Hacking MNBN5 DS Cheats

I'm having problems with the MNBN5 DS cheats. When I start up the game with the cheats I want and start a new or saved game the game stays on a black screen and the title screen music continues to play instead of a transition into in-game. I am using Wood R4 1.15. Moreover, the ROM itself is clean. Is there a solution to the BSOD and is the cheats the problem or is it the game itself very glitchy and Capcom needs to do a better job next time?

it's most likely the code's fault or you have too many codes on.
i remember one or two of the codes that I've used on that game gave me a BSOD.
