...use this script (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27874399/BFLIMDDSFix.bms) to fix certain file headers and colours (the .bflim default is BGR, but you want RGB, hence this script's existence).
Quick question about this, will I want to move the files back into the "Convert" folder before this or is it OK for them to stay in the DDS folder? (As in does it just modify the files or does it require a conversion?)

Edit: I see what you thought I meant now, you thought I wanted the map texture that shows up on the gamepad. I need the file that tells 3ds Max where all the textures go on the model

3ds Max should detect that automatically. Just put the tex in one new folder with the model file, and open the model file from the folder.

Try opening the model, then saving it as .obj and viewing it again. :P
Ah, haven't tried that yet. I'll do that when I get home today, thanks :)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also, for those who can't/don't want to look into the games filesystem, the word "Enkei" is used multiple times to refer to various textures. This translates to "round" or "circular" in English, so one could assume that the area is named "Enkei City" or "Enkei Plaza" or something to that effect (which makes sense, since if you look at it from Rainbow Road or the Superbell Subway map it is a perfect circle)

Let me know when you have your results. :)

Welp, try reading through this, might help you. :P http://www.vg-resource.com/thread-26692.html
Well I thought I found the answer but it took me a step BACKWARDS. I downloaded r2 WIP, but now no textures are showing up whatsoever again. I've looked into the .mtl file and everything SHOULD be showing up correctly but it's just not :S

I'm sorry for bothering you so much, and I guarantee it's just that I'm doing something stupid, but I'd really like to get this working...

Edit: The thing that really frustrates me is that the texture map appears to be working with the wireframes (the places where different textures should be are colored differently), but the textures just aren't applying to the actual model

Well, try a different version of Max, or use Noesis. :P
